• Question: How do you check drugs that are safe?

      Hi,

      Drugs have to go through rigorous testing in both animal and human studies before they are even considered to be used by the public. This is where therapies using viruses instead of drugs are having problems, as you cant test a virus the same way you can test a chemical.

      Although, people are working hard to adapt the drug approval pathways for use on virus based therapies as well!
