• Question: did you have a job before working as a scientist

      Hi Lewis,

      Good question! Yes I did. I have been working since I was 16 at various jobs while also studying at school / university.

      I first worked at woolworths when I was 16 for 1 year, then I worked in a garden centre for 1 year, then I got a job at our student union behind the bar while at university. After university, I was working for an analytical chemistry company for 1 year, then I started my phD, which is when you could say i definitely became a scientist!
