Believe it or not, I set up an experiment using pig eyes that the butcher didn’t want and it allowed us to work out which drugs might be developed as eye drops by seeing how and why they move across the eye. Its amazing that this works but it does!

      Hi 259drug43,

Tough question! I quite like the lead compound’s that I’ve developed during my PhD. They are the most selective molecules ever discovered to bind to the human telomeric G-quadruplex… They are also fluorescent green. and appear to have some other interesting properties that need more investigation! You can look at their fluorescence when they are inside cells, and see where they go!

The best experiments are when you see or discover something by accident… This has happened to me with these molecules with two different things, but I’m not allowed to tell you exactly what they are until I’ve done some more work on it!

      Steve
