      Hi
I don’t really like it when experiments don’t work or when I make mistakes. Sometimes its quite hard to make things work, but when they do its really good.

      Hi Lewis,

Good question! One of my least favourite parts are when scientists are pitted against each other to compete, for example to compete for funding, or to win a prestigious fellowship or prize, or even to finish a research paper first! There’s always someone better than you, and nobody like’s loosing… I gues this comes under the broader heading of dealing with failiure that Jenny said though…

Most of the time, scientists work together and form ‘collaborations’ and when they do so, they can accomplish the most amazing things. So it’s not always like that! 🙂

      Steve
