      Hi Ashpash13,

I find science really exciting, because we are researching subjects to find out something new. It’s very satisfying when you plan experiments and they work well, especially when you discover something that noone has ever found out before. I work with parasites that cause a neglected tropical disease (it’s called leishmaniasis). The lifecycle of these parasites is very interesting and why I choose to study this subject 🙂

      Hi Aspash,

I love talking about ideas and sharing ideas with other people a lot. It’s very pleasing and it’s amazing when you get a ‘lightbulb on top of your head moment’, and the idea turns out to be useful.

      Hi Ashpash13,

That’s a good question. I agree with Hannah, I like discovering something new the best!

The best part about science is when you are the first person ever to discover or develop something. I really enjoy thinking about all of the new ways you could potentially solve a problem, and you’ll be surprised just how many things have never been researched or tested yet!

I’ll leave you with a quote I heard that I really like:

“Science allows you to ask ‘why’… And if you keep asking why, eventually you reach a point when you start asking ‘why not’ instead.”

This is the most exciting place to be! So keep being curious and asking questions, and eventually you’ll be able to come up with your own ideas and solutions to problems! 🙂

      Steve
