      Hi Chante,

You have lots of interesting questions!

The universe is made up of matter and energy. Matter includes dark matter, which we cannot see as well as the matter that we can see (which makes up you, me and the rest of the observable universe!).

Hopefully this answers your question? A physicist would be able to tell you more! 🙂

      Hi Chante,

As Steve says, the universe is made of matter, dark matter and energy.

Normal matter is made from atoms that make up things like stars, planets and everything visible in our universe. Interestingly most of the ‘stuff’ in the universe is not actually made of matter but dark matter that we cannot see! Physists estimate only 1-10% of our universe is made of matter, the rest is dark matter and energy.
