      Hi Chante,

A black hole is an area in spacetime that has such strong gravitational effect that it doesn’t let anything, even light escape. The work of Albert Einstein was able to calculate what would be at the bottom of a black hole – a spot that is infinitely dense and infinitely small – something that physicists call a ‘singularity’.

      Hi Chante,

I really didn’t know the answer to that so thanks Hannah for answering!

Physics was never my favourite subject 🙁

      Hi Chante,

As Hannah said, the centre of a black hole is called a singularity and is infinitely dense and infintely small!
