This year I went traveling in Cambodia and that was very exotic! Cambodia is in Asia, near Thailand and is very hot and has some very beautiful sandy beaches. I really liked visiting the temples in Cambodia and eating the tasty and exotic Cambodian food – I tried things like snake and rat!
Maybe Cairns in Northern Australia. I went there with a friend after Uni and we went hiking in the rainforest and diving on the Great Barrier Reef!

I would go for Japan. It’s such an amazing country, and so different from western civilisation! The food is absolutely amazing, the people so friendly, and the technology bewildering! It’s one of the most beautiful places ever, it has so much history and culture, and it’s probably the closest thing to a utopian society that I’ve experienced. While there I climbed to the summit of Mount Fuji at 3,776m above sea level, and watched the sunrise at 4:30am. That was the most breathtaking view I’ve ever seen. I saw active volcanoes, I was in a magnitute 5 earthquake and also nearly got blown away while trying to buy lunch in a typhoon. The bullet train is also so cool!
So basically if you ever get the chance to visit, take it! 🙂 Of all the places that I’ve been, that’s my favourite.
An honorable mention to Kebnekaise in northern Sweeden, (inside the artic circle) and Koh Phi Phi in Thailand also!
The last 2 years I did 2 trips to 2 exotic destinations.
First, India. It was a trip starting form New Delhi, spending Diwali in Jaipur and finishing at Chennai at the south of India where I was invited to a traditional wedding!
And this October I went to Mexico to Obregon, Sonora and to San Carlos again as a guest to a wedding!
I cannot choose between those 2 for the most exotic destination because they are so different!
I aim to travel around as much as I can!
What about you?
