      Hi curry123,

      Yes I would! To be well known in science is to be successful, and I think that every scientist would want that!

      I think chemists are under rated as far as fame goes though. There are some amazing and semi famous chemists, but the public sadly know little about them or what they do. It’s something that chemists need to work on and improve though, so who knows maybe you could be the next famous chemist!

      Hi Curry123,

      I am not after fame but I would love it if I could be recognized ,through my work , by my peers and colleagues in my area at least. That means a lot to any of us and it helps spread the results of your work to more people!
      You know when it is happening when someone comes up to you in a conference and starts a conversation by quoting your findings! Happy days!

      Yes, if I became famous that would be pretty cool! If you are famous as a scientist it usually means you’ve done something amazing. I think everyone would secretly like to be just a little bit famous?
